Filippo Sciascia’s latest objects in his Primitive series examines drawing as an instinctive way of making sense of our world, from an artistic and a scientific stance. Primitive Learning refers to the rudimentary method of humans trying to translate their observations by hand, a gesture that has remained largely unchanged since infancy, or even the beginning of time. Here, Sciascia digitized and created a video inspired by a childish drawing, which he then minted as a NFT on Opensea. As a future-forward artist, Filippo is open to exploring the latest technology in the art world to further his practice.
