As part of Yeo Workshop’s continued dedication to the Singapore art scene, the gallery is proud to present the launch of Points of Articulation this year — a 200-page monograph honouring the late artist Solamalay Namasivayam. A key figure in Singapore’s figurative art scene, Namasivayam co-founded Group 90 and played a pivotal role in shaping the nation’s artistic landscape.

This book launch continues the gallery’s commitment to preserving and sharing Namasivayam’s legacy, following Yeo Workshop’s presentation of his first major retrospective, also titled Points of Articulation, in November 2019. That landmark exhibition brought his works and life as an artist-educator to light, paying tribute to his influence since his passing in 2013. The new publication expands on this narrative, offering fresh insights and a lasting record of his contribution to Singapore’s art history.
