White Cube Hong Kong will present ‘Thresholds’, a group exhibition featuring the work of 9 contemporary artists whose practices are rooted in or connected to Indonesia.
Through a diverse range of mediums, the exhibition explores the interwoven cycles of life, death and transformation, with a focus on themes of ritual, spirituality, and reincarnation.

Galuh Sukardi is an independent curator based in Bali, Indonesia. With a passion for promoting Southeast Asian contemporary art, Sukardi has held positions as Junior Specialist for the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian paintings department in Sotheby's Hong Kong and Singapore (2010–2014), Head of Southeast Asia at White Cube (2015–2019) and Director at David Zwirner (2020–2024).
