The Shape of Passing Through explores the interconnected relationship between memory, space, and time. The multi-sensory exhibition located in the Esplanade tunnel utilises light, sound, and visual art to reflect how spatial and architectural elements shape our perception of temporality.
The exhibition offers an immersive environment that encourages visitors to reflect on how we experience time—not just as a straight line from past to future, but as something fluid and layered. Sounds, images, and light interact to evoke memories and emotions, creating a space where personal and collective memories can surface, overlap, and shift, reminding us that memory is not fixed, but always in motion.
The project seeks to open up typically individual artistic and curatorial processes, fostering situations where participants can explore and expand the understanding of their own work.
