Biographies
Krystina Lyon is the author of You are Seen. She is an art historian and collector whose personal collection forms the foundation of this publication. Her research centers on contemporary practices across Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on women artists whose contributions remain under-recognized despite growing visibility. Through her writing, curation, and collecting, Lyon seeks to expand critical discourse around regional art histories and advocate for more equitable cultural representation.
Samallie Kiyingi is an international lawyer, finance executive and business leader. Ms
Kiyingi’s career spans four continents in both the public and private sector. She has served as the Global General Counsel for Standard Chartered’s Investment Bank and as the General Counsel at the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), where addition to her management role she developed the Bank’s inaugural art strategy. Recognized for her contributions to transformational leadership, Samallie has received several prestigious accolades including General Counsel of the Year at the International Financial Law Review Africa Law Awards in 2022 and the Advance Global Australian Award for Professional Services in 2024. She was also recently named among the 100 most Reputable Africans by Reputation Poll International. Samallie serves on the Board of Trustees at the Global Studies University in Sharjah, UAE, on the board of the African Legal Support Facility (ALSF) in Abidjan and on the board of Advance Global Australians, an organization supporting Australian expatriates globally. Beyond her work in finance and law, Samallie is a passionate patron of the arts. She is currently the Co-chair of the Tate Modern’s African Art Acquisition Committee.
Lindsay Davis
With a vision of available, accessible and affordable healthcare for all women in Asia, Lindsay Davis founded FemTech Association Asia in October 2021 as the region’s first and largest specialist advisory and industry network for founders, professionals, investors and ecosystem-builders with the core focus on improving women’s health through technology solutions. The organisation represents 80+ companies across 10 countries in Asia. FemTech Association Asia was named the 2025 Most Pioneering Femtech Consultancy by CEO Asia, 2024 Most Empowering Femtech Organisation in Asia by Innovation in Business, Finalist in the Global Inclusion Online Forum – 2022 Business Inclusivity Awards and is member of the UNFPA Equity 2030 Alliance. As an authority on the femtech industry in Asia, Davis has been featured in media outlets including NASDAQ, CNA, Tatler, The Straits Times, The Business Times, Rice Media, South China Morning Post and MediaCorp Channel News 8. In 2023-24, Davis was commissioned by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) as a thought leader and researcher to define what is required to drive transformational and catalytic change in femtech in Southeast Asia. Davis is a Speaker & Essayist for the Milken Institute and sits on the Advisory Board for Women in Global Health – Singapore, Ovy Health - Indonesia, and Deep South FemTech Association - USA.
