The Unfaithful Octopus: Image-Thinking and Adaptation
The Unfaithful Octopus Tincludes newly commissioned artworks by Fyerool Darma and Ian Tee (Singapore), as well as seating sculptures by Diem Phung Thi remade by Thao Nguyen Phan (Ho Chi Minh City) for the exhibition. Also on view are new and previously unexhibited embroideries by Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook (Chiang Mai), as well as moving image works by Mieke Bal (Amsterdam), Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook, CAMP (Mumbai), Chulayarnnon Siriphol (Bangkok), and Ricardo de Baños and Alberto Marro (Barcelona), presented in Singapore for the first time.
The Unfaithful Octopus continues until 1 December 2023 at ADM Gallery, and thereafter will travel to MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum in Chiang Mai in early 2024.
