FRIEND explores the relationship between human and machine.

As the line between people and technology dissolves, what can the quest to connect teach us about being human? How does it shape our bodies and worlds?

From pioneering technologies, leading global research and experimental practice, this exhibition considers how machines can become companions, collaborators, and even an extension of ourselves.

Meet one of the world’s first ever full-scale creative humanoids, WABOT-2, shown in Australia for the first time. Breathe with a Trickless Bear, enter a never-ending Doomscroll or talk with a Weak Robot.

FRIEND isn’t just an exhibition– it’s an invitation to imagine new rituals, new relationships and a new humanity empowered by technology.
